INVESTING IN GEORGIA - ADDITIONAL STEPS TAKEN TO FACILITATE BUSINESS

MgalobliShvili Kipiani Dzidziguri (MKD) law firm in cooperation with American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine successfully organized the second special Chamber Knowledge Seminar in Kyiv "Investing in Georgia - Additional steps Taken to Facilitate Business.The goal of the event was to depict the activities and benefits of investment opportunities in Georgia and the region.

The presentations of the seminar covered the following issues: recent fiscal reforms in light of the new tax code, unique features of a Georgian concept of free industrial zones and the new process for start-up and expansion of construction activities and a brief overview of the recent legislative changes in Georgia. The presentations were delivered by Mr.Victor Kipiani - Partner, Mr.David Dzidziguri – Partner and Mr. David Koghuashvili – Of-Counsel MKD.

During the event the participants had an opportunity to learn more about the Georgian market, investment options, advantages and incentives offered by Georgia to the foreign investments.
